This official Riva Ariston model boat (1:10 scale) is built by our jewelers using high quality wood (beech wood) and matching parts (chrome brass). Real padding.
In order to obtain a perfectly smooth hull and deck, 10 coats of varnish are applied, interrupted by progressively finer sanding steps. The last phase consists of applying several coats of gloss varnish to create a “mirror effect” characteristic of these boats.
This is the most extraordinary Riva model with its exclusive license.

History of this model:
Riva Ariston is the second original model of the famous RIVA shipyard, built between 1950 and 1976 and equipped with a 290 hp engine.
Next to the Aquarama, the Ariston is perhaps the most well-known model from Riva and certainly one of the most popular. By the time production ceased in 1974, twenty-four years after the model was first conceived, over 1,000 boats had been built. Many modifications were made during this period, not least its length - which ranged from 6.2 to almost 7 meters - and the size of the single engine fitted, which ranged from 105 hp to 350 hp in the Super Ariston, powerful enough to accommodate up to to a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
The Ariston was available in three different versions. The "regular" Ariston, of which 804 were built between 1950 and 1972, was supplemented in 1956-7 by the more powerful Ariston Cadillac, of which 19 were built. This in turn was replaced in 1960 by the Super Ariston, which continued to be produced until 1974; These are distinguished by their larger engines (275-350hp) and a wooden saxboard around the edge of the bow.
